The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in the Safe Administration of Lifesaving Medication (RQF) is specifically designed for individuals employed by a Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered organisation who have a responsibility to safely administer and monitor lifesaving medication within their professional scope of practice.

This qualification equips learners with the knowledge and confidence to administer lifesaving medication effectively during emergency or life-threatening situations. Topics covered include:
• Common types of lifesaving medication
• Assessing a patient’s condition
• Guidelines and protocols for the safe administration of medication

Important Information:

To enrol on this course, learners must:
• Be employed by a CQC registered organisation
• Have successfully completed the Qualsafe Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) or a recognised equivalent qualification.

This course ensures participants are fully prepared to handle the critical responsibilities associated with lifesaving medication administration.
