This course is focused on those working in the healthcare setting and teaches delegates about the role and responsibility of personal care. Delegates will be also be taught the fundamentals of pressure sore care, with a focus on industry standard prevention methods. They will also learn about the specific factors which can lead to the development of pressure sores, how to identify infection, and ways in which they can be treated. This course is suitable for social workers and care workers that work with and support vulnerable or elderly people with limited mobility, or anyone looking to improve upon their own methods of personal care. It is also beneficial training for those who work within health or care sectors where the development of pressure sores is a significant concern.
